HERSHEY TRACK & FIELD YOUTH PROGRAM
Sponsored by the Onslow County Parks & Recreation Department the Local meet is scheduled for Tuesday June 1, 2010 with the rain date scheduled for Thursday June 3 at White Oak High School Track. Registration for the meet will be from 5:00 – 5:30 p.m. with the meet beginning at 5:45 p.m. Boys and Girls ages 9-14 (on December 31, 2010) are eligible to participate. FISHING DERBY
Please bring your fishing pole and join the Onslow County Parks and Recreation Department and Wal-Mart for an exciting, fun filled day of fishing. Kids 4 to 16 are invited to test their fishing skills at the Fishing Derby from 9:00 to 12:00 am. Saturday June 5. At The Jacksonville Training Academy Range off Hwy 17 S Dawson Cabin Road to 110 Stillwood Road . Kids 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult! SUMMER DAY CAMP – Featuring a new six week educational and fun program
The Onslow County Parks and Recreation Department and the Onslow County Board of Education are sponsoring a Summer Day Camp Program at various school sites. Campsites are: Dixon Middle School , Southwest Middle, Swansboro Middle, Hunters Middle and Summersill Elementary School . Registration held at Onslow Pines Park . Session I will be held June 21 – July 9 Monday – Friday 7:45- 5:15 PM Session II camp runs July 12-July 30 Cost is $85 per child per three week session with each additional child from the same family paying only $75 per child.
