Another Way to Give Back to the Sneads Ferry Community

There is yet another way for you to give back to your Village ….

by being a Village Volunteer.

The Sneads Ferry Community Council has an opening for someone to take over the Awareness Committee.

Now is a great time for you to get the pulse of the people on road conditions,

attend meetings and keep the county abreast of our needs.

Of course there is more to the Awareness Committee than just roads but

if you’re retired military,

if you have just a little extra time on your hands,

if you’re a go getter,

if you want to make a difference in Sneads Ferry,

if you want to take the Community Council to a new level,

then please step forward by being a Village Volunteer.

Onslow Commissioners Special Meeting (incl. Fire & Rescue Options)

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING and CHANGE OF TIME
ONSLOW COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

March 9, 2010

The Onslow County Board of Commissioners has scheduled a Special Meeting to take place on Tuesday, March 9, 2010. This meeting will begin at 1:00 PM at Onslow County Multipurpose Complex, 4024 Richlands Highway, Jacksonville.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the commissioners with a workshop setting to receive presentations on Fire & Rescue Improvement Options, 2010 CIP Update, and an Economic Development Update and other briefings and topics pertaining to Onslow County Government.
