Please be a part of the solution, not a part of the problem. 

The Adopt A Highway volunteers in Sneads Ferry have been asked to pick up the litter on their streets prior to the Shrimp Festival so ……………  

Please tie down trash that you are taking to the dump. 

Don’t over fill your trash cans and leave them on the side of the road without a cover, other wise animals or the wind will blow it out of the can. 

Please monitor neighbor’s vacant property for litter.

When you see our Village Volunteers keeping OUR roads clean, slow down and beep to say thanks or stop and ask if you can help. 

There has been less litter but, if it wasn’t for your friends, neighbors, clubs and organizations who are Adopt a Highway Volunteers,

I would hate to think how things could look.

So, if you, your church or organization would like to Adopt A Highway here are some roads that are available for adoption.

NC 172 from NC 210 at Four Corners to NC 172 Virginia Lane

NC 210 from NC 172 at Four Corners to LZ Owl

Old Folkstone Road from Chadwick Acres Road to Ennett Lane

Old Folkstone Road from NC 17 to Tar Landing Road

Turkey Point Road

You can clean it up with a few people, recruit neighbors, family and friends or hire someone to do it but, please call me if you’d like to help!
