Attorneys Meet Over Big Rock Dispute

Lawyers plan to meet this week regarding the legal dispute over the disqualification of the boat the Citation that landed a record catch at the 2010 Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament as efforts continue to resolve the issue. Questions about when and where the fishing license was purchased and when and where it is required to qualify for the tournament may be the deciding difference.

Fishing Derby at Jacksonville Training Academy Range

With a very generous grant from Wal-Mart our Derby has lots of Prizes, Food and Fun!  

Register to win a Lifetime unified sportsman license donated by Neuse Sporting Shop in Kinston.  NC Carolina Fishing License donated by NC State Council of Trout Unlimited and Bayside Marina and Grill in Edenton.  Rods, Reels, fishing line and tackle boxes donated by Brass Pro Shop.

FISHING DERBY

Please bring your fishing pole and join the Onslow County Parks and Recreation Department and Wal-Mart for an exciting, fun filled day of fishing. Kids 4 to 16 are invited to test their fishing skills at the Fishing Derby from 9:00 to 12:00 am. Saturday June 5.  At The Jacksonville Training Academy Range off Hwy 17 S Dawson Cabin Road to 110 Stillwood Road.  Kids 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult!
