Sneads Ferry Prepares For Spring 2008

This past Sunday my younger son and I went out for a bike ride checking out the latest happenings in Sneads Ferry. It was a very pleasant day with warmer temperatures and a regular breeze so we made our way towards the waterfront and the marinas. Looking out over the Intracoastal Waterway (ICWW) was spectacular seeing the islands including Topsail Island and North Topsail Beach.

As usual, the people were quite friendly and waved often from homefronts, cars and boardwalks. Nearly everywhere we went, people went out of their way to say "Hello" and wish us a good day. It reminded me just how lucky we are to live in a small waterfront community in Eastern North Carolina.

The following are just a few pictures from our ride which took us down to Swan Point Marina and the surrounding housing areas. Click on the pictures to see a larger view of each. Enjoy!
